The AuQuA project is coordinated and supported by the Forschungsgemeinschaft Qualität e.V. (FQS). The initiator of the project, which is funded by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen (AiF) within the framework of the international research network CORNET, is Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert H. Schmitt, Head of the Chair of Production Measurement and Quality Management at RWTH Aachen University.

Cornet / IGF international
CORNET stands for Collective Research Networking and enables transnational projects of joint research. The initiative networks national and regional programs of collective research of different countries to enable international research projects for the benefit of small and medium-sized enterprises. In Germany, CORNET is based on the Industrial Collective Research (IGF) funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi).
